Eisteddfod
CPM did remarkably well at the 2025 Eisteddfod, with an impressive 26 Cum Laudes, 73 Gold, 132 Silver, 74 Bronze and 2 Trophy Winners for Afr. poetry and photography. Learners are predominantly taught by the teachers, which reflect the high standard and commitment of the staff.
CPM is as wenner aangewys in die kategorie vir kleiner skole in 2021.
Photography Club
CPM have a very active photography club. Learners have the opportunity to take part in internal and external competitions. They also take part in the West Boland Eisteddfod.
Opportunities offered
The following opportunities for participation are offered: Public Speaking, WOW Spelfees, Dans, Concerts, Talent Evenings, Eisteddfod, Choir, Quiz, Bible Knowledge, Entrepreneurs, Olympiads (Conquesta), Quarterly outings, Community service and Photography club.
Leadership camp
All grade 7 pupils attend an annual leadership camp which always proves to be a huge success. The Gr. 7 pupils also go on a memorable trip together – for example a holiday on the MSC Simfonia received rave accolades from the children. All grades undertake cultural and educational field day trips to interesting places in the Western Cape. The school also undertakes community outreach projects on a regular basis.
